Good but rather pricey.
This place is phenomenal! Delicious food and a very hometown atmosphere. And the people are friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable too! Highly recommend!
Great placed tucked off main Street along rail road. The family was there and was just as nice as could be and of course the food was amazing. We will definitely come back. They also sell live crawfish in case u didn't know!!!!
This is a great local place everyone is super friendly. We would go back when the boiled crabs & crawfish are in season. Portions are big.
Great food Wonderful service Mom and Pop at it’s best No hushuppies but onion rings are great
We showed up with a baseball team and family of about 20 people and we had very little wait time!! Service was great and the food was amazing especially the boiled crawfish!! The BEST we ever had at a restaurant!! Being from out of town , Millside will definitely be a place that we will keep on our list to return to during a baseball weekend.
Some of the best seafood,at great prices
By far the best crawfish and shrimp pony around Louisana! Awesome locals!
Excellent fried fish and shrimp plate. Reasonably priced. Sweet sweet tea. Very friendly employees.
We enjoy this small, quaint eating place! Service is good. Employees are friendly. It is clean. And, each time we have eaten there the food has been very good and reasonably priced.
The bartender Stephanie was great and made the drinks on point...I didnt know what I wanted to drink except vodka and she made a great drink!
Great food with good people!
If you like small family owned places with really good food and reasonable prices, then this is the place.
Wish I could give them more than 5 Stars!!!! Our first visit.....wonderful food, great service, very friendly atmosphere!!! Lynette and Tammy are helpful, prompt and pleasant. Thoroughly enjoyed the Oldies playing while we ate!!!!!
Service was good, but the food was bland. I got seafood platter and everything taste the same. No season at all. First and last time
Fast, friendly and delicious! Not many places know how to flash fry oysters. Really light batter on all the seafood and seasoned well. C & S gumbo was very tasty.
Best fried seafood in the area. Shrimp, oysters, softshells. Huge portions- half shrimp and oyster dinner came with 12 mid sized fried oysters, and 9 big fried shrimp, onion rings (subbed for fries), and old fashioned buttered toasted white bread. Good prices (dinner mentioned was $16.99), service great. Nothing fancy- just a great local joint with really really good seafood.
Great food, good service.
Great soft shell crab poboy! Easy, quick, reasonably priced. Just a good old hole-in-the-wall kind of place.
We split the seafood platter!! Everything was delicious. It was so much food that we left on on the plate. All of the staff were very warm & friendly. We're from Michigan passing through but we will visit this resturant again!!
Friendly customer service. Good food. I've tried different dishes and I keep coming back for one. If you haven't been here you should definitely stop by. And if you like to drink there is a bar attached right to it. Happy eating!
Came in about 30min before they closed but they welcomed us with open arms, happy to serve. Both my husband and I had shrimp poboys, mine dressed, his not. He ordered fries and I got onion rings. Everything was delicious and came out quick and hot... big, tender shrimp, beautiful tomato slices, just the right amount of crisp lettuce. French bread was crusty outside and tender inside. Fries were average but the onion rings were outstanding! Sweet tea was just right and they have Dr. Pepper and were happy to make us up a couple drinks to go. Ponchatoula is an oustanding, little town and Millside is one of their stars. Stop in when you're in town! And check out their Trade Days the first weekend in March and November.
Great food. Friendly staff. Hamburger and onion rings are real good. Hamburger steak is awesome.
Headed home to Jackson Mississippi; found this "hole in the wall", which are usually the best places to eat, decided to try- best decision! Had the soft crab dinner- AWESOME! Would have given 5 stars, but the fries were bland and the salad was too small for the overall price.
Best watering hole in Louisiana
I had the oyster po-boy. The oysters were cooked perfectly and had a great flavor and texture.
Great prices and food quality is great. We love the catfish on the sesame bun. The burgers and fries are great as well. One of our go to spots weekly. Very friendly service.
Delicious food wonderful home atmosphere
Always great food and great service!
Fantastic food and drinks at a great price! You have to try the burgers and poboys!
Simply restaurant!!Shrimp Po-Boy had small but tasteful and plentiful shrimp... We also had a good roast beef Po-Boy.. Several beers including Abita available.
Love it makes the best salads all kinds all day.
Really nice people and great food!
Prefect off the beaten path seafood and bar!! The PO boys look out of this world and the the seafood platter I had was cooked so perfect and the fish tasted so clean. The service is friendly and very welcoming. I would recommend to anyone passing through!
Best. Catfish. Ever. Seriously so delicately breaded and fried. And they give you PLENTY. So glad we stopped at this unassuming looking place- the locals and the service are awesome!
Fast service and good fresh food
Service was great they have good memory. The food was excellent!
Very personable, Quick service... serving down home cooking at a reasonable cost. Both Lynette and Tammy were a delight.Liked the music of years gone by 👍
The only reason im giving it a 3 is because i got the loaded potatoe...its good but they just cut the potatoe in half and throw the stuff in the middle.to me ive seen alot to where the potatoe is smashed a good bit then stuff is poured on.easier to eat and would of been more pleasant.i wouldnt eat again just because of the potatoe was a whole piece and to me was more of a side then a meal cause of the way it was prepared.side orders take less time to prepare not a meal...husband loved his seafood platter though.
People are nice, place and bathrooms are clean and food is good.
Food and service was GREAT! Don't let appearances deceive you.
Food wasn't all that had better before from here
Small out of the way family owned restaurant with separate bar area. The food was delicious with fresh ingredients. The portions were generous. I had the shrimp poboy and my husband had the oyster poboy. We split an order of onion rings. The servers were friendly. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area
Great poboys, wonderful friendly people, and lots of food for a great price.
The hole in the wall that you'll make your go to every time for great food. The locals were friendly and easy to talk to
We enjoyed the fried oysters and shrimp, light and crispy; also the roast beef po boy was the best I ever had, just wish they offered a baked potato instead of French fries with the seafood platter. The owners are really nice people! We plan on coming back soon.
Great place, great service and friendly place
This is a real hole in the wall sort of place.I gave it five stars because I really had an enjoyable time here. Not because the food is great. The crawfish was amazing. Other dishes that my kids had were diner quality food. The owners family were all working there and were totally the kind of people you enjoy meeting and talking with. If you love fresh seafood in a down to earth setting with great people this is the place for you. If you are looking to impress on a first date, maybe not.
The softshell crabs were fantastic. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere.
Local grassroots seafood restaurant. Not fancy or pretentious. The oyster on bun is excellent and the most oysters you can get anywhere for the price. Crawfish on toast is also fantastic. Not a big fan of the onion rings; they aren’t the flaky kind. Also they don’t have remoulade sauce. The staff is friendly and service is quick. I would definitely recommend this place.
